Letter-The Black Sheep Ensemble is made up of brass & sax players, percussionists, and various performance artists. Our goal is to keep the band small and tight so we are able to put on a well thought out and fluid show.

We are open to new members who meet our criteria for showmanship, musical/performance skill, and time commitment. It helps if you can run with scissors but still manage to get along with your fellow band mates.

We have our core group – the regulars who you’ll see at almost every gig and who know all the routines and performance cues.

In addition, we have “Imaginary Sheep” – performers invited to fill a temporary vacancy, or to gig with us when a bigger presence is desired.

The band rehearses most Sundays between 7:30 and 9:30pm at our studio in Decatur, GA.

If this sounds like a good time to you, fill out our “Contact” form and let us know what instruments you play along with any other skills you think we’d find useful.  Even if you haven’t played in a while, don’t worry — it will all come back once the sheep get a hold of you.
